Quality Assurance Specialist:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define testing policies, standards and validation techniques throughout our software development and customer service processes.
  • Operational quality assurance tasks, integrated with the build/test/deploy process of custom solutions according to customer requirements and schedule
  • Development quality assurance tasks, integrated with build/test/deploy process for in-house systems and tools used in operations
  • Establish process and strategies to ensure enforcement of testing policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain test environment configuration and system administration requirements and procedures
  • Implement automated build and test processes
  • Establish metrics to monitor and report on product and process quality.
  • Recommend ways to improve product/process quality.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
  • Degree/diploma in computer science, information technology or related field (College Diploma + 3-5 yrs relevant experience or University Degree plus 2 years relevant experience)
  • Recent work experience in software quality assurance, including automated testing tools and processes
  • Experience in agile software development processes
  • Familiarity with web-based technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, etc.) and protocols (HTTP, FTP)
