Quality Assurance Specialist:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and define testing policies, standards and validation techniques throughout our software development and customer service processes.
- Operational quality assurance tasks, integrated with the build/test/deploy process of custom solutions according to customer requirements and schedule
- Development quality assurance tasks, integrated with build/test/deploy process for in-house systems and tools used in operations
- Establish process and strategies to ensure enforcement of testing policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain test environment configuration and system administration requirements and procedures
- Implement automated build and test processes
- Establish metrics to monitor and report on product and process quality.
- Recommend ways to improve product/process quality.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Degree/diploma in computer science, information technology or related field (College Diploma + 3-5 yrs relevant experience or University Degree plus 2 years relevant experience)
- Recent work experience in software quality assurance, including automated testing tools and processes
- Experience in agile software development processes
- Familiarity with web-based technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, etc.) and protocols (HTTP, FTP)
